Undercurrent’s design approach is based on our ability to harness and manipulate a current, or a flow of energy, within an environment. We do this by considering gradients, forms, voids and textures as tools in crafting a certain feeling or presence for those experiencing a space.
The under in our name denotes sub-current. This is the underlying opposing force within that; an approach that counters convention. The under is our fresh perspective, our unwillingness to accept things as just so. It is why our mission as a company is to build a low carbon economy through measuring, reducing and offsetting our emissions. And why insights from our global experience are so crucial to the varying points of view we put on the table.
